WHAT IS A LVN?
A licensed vocational nurse (LVN), also known as a licensed practical nurse (LPN), or vocational nurse, is someone who works in a hospital to care for disabled, sick, or otherwise injured patients. An LVN usually works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN), a medical doctor, or a mid-level practitioner to offer primary bedside care for patients
REQUIREMENTS
- NO PRE-REQUISITE COURSES REQUIRED
- APPLY WITH JUST A HIGHSCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED
- NCLEX / PN REVIEW IS INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM
COURSE SCHEDULE
16 MONTH PROGRAM – ACCELERATED PROGRAM
- CLASS HOURS: TUESDAY – FRIDAY: 8am – 1:30pm
- CLINICAL ROTATION HOURS: SATURDAY: 7:30am – 4:30pm (varies based on Clinical Rotation site)
